Do you offer cake tastings for baby showers and birthdays?

I have some one who's thinking of having me make them a small 10 inch round cake. But her and her sister want to taste it first. Should I or should I not. Its just me doing this on a budget.

I would allow them to order some cupcakes, or a small cake--but no free tasting. I do free tastings for any event cake that's over $300, anything less and I charge for the samples.

I do free tastings for any event over 80 servings. Found that that gets rid of the 8 and 10" clients that thinks they are entitled to a tasting icon_smile.gif

No, but they could buy another cake for full price if they wanted to.

I do tastings for any party over 100 people. No exceptions!
It really kills me how people will go to a restaurant they've never been to and pay $100 for a dinner but when they want to pay $100 for a cake, they need a sample first! Do they call up the chef and ask them if they can just have a bite of something she is cooking at the moment? Ridiculous!! Mini-vent over icon_smile.gif
