Cake boss software on IPad

Hello,
I'm looking at purchasing the cake boss software, however, I use my iPad 99% of the time so I want to know if anyone less out there use cake boss on their iPad.
Thanks

I am a mac user and if I understand correctly, the only way is to instal a partition on a mac so you can install windows friendly software. I am not even sure how you would begin to do this on an iPad. If you find a way let me know, because I have a macbook and an iPad!

I would love for it to run on Mac OSX (or ipad...would give me an excuse to get one!). I did purchase it to run through parallels on my mac using windows, but it's so slow that way that I don't even use it. Waste of money on my part, I had emailed them once and they said they were working on making it a web based application, but that was a over a year ago and seems to have never happened.

You should email the Cake Boss support team. But here are my thoughts. Cake Boss is Windows software so if you have a regular PC with Windows installed and Cake Boss installed on that PC , then you could use one of the remote desk top apps available for the iPad to access Cake Boss.

As far as I know there isn't an app for the iPad but definately check with Kelley and the team. They're great.

It's still in progress. Believe me, no one wants to get it out more than we do. But speaking in practical terms, we are a family-run company and this year our family's hands have been full. Those of you in Texas know what I'm talking about.

The new version will be HTML based and will run in any browser, therefore it will work on iPhones and iPads.

Awesome, can't wait for the new version then. When will you be releasing that?

The release date is undetermined, but it is a priority for us.

Kelley, I'm looking to purchase the software in the near future. When the changes are made, will those that have purchased it get the upgrade, or will we have to buy the new version?

Small updates are periodically made to the existing release with no fee. If a completely new version is released, there may be an upgrade fee. We have released two versions in our history, one in 2007 and one in 2010. The upgrade fee for 2007 users to 2010 was $50, which was simply the difference in price between the new version ($149) and the old version ($99). We do not yet know what price structure may be applied to future releases, but we will always strive to be fair with our existing customers.

I don't think I can wait much longer for the mac version. I'm 99% sure i'll buy the existing one and run on the software for PC/Mac.

BIG question: If I get the existing software, will I be able to upgrage/switch over to the Mac version for an upgrade like fee instead of having to buy an all new program? Because that would be AWESOME (and make me buy today!)

I already own CakeBoss and considered an ipad for a while. I looked into Go To My PC. They have an app for it, and i hear it is just like your computer with the app. You can get a discount or a free month if you click the mic and enter Rush in the referral box icon_wink.gif

Any updates on when the software will be available for IPad? I am ready to purchase but would REALLY like a version that I can use on my IPad!

Kelly.... Your last comments regarding an upgrade to be able to use Cake Boss on an Ipad was 2 years ago. Any News? I really want to get this going! Any Progress?
Thanks
