Does anyone have a preference/know of the cheapest place to buy cake dummies. I just got a new job and they want me to make a portfolio of 20 dummy cakes, so I just want to be as cost effective as possible. Thanks in advance!

I've found Dallas Foam to be the cheapest.

TIP
If this is a photo portfolio don't stick anything to the cake with liquid. Use shortening instead. The fondant/gumpaste decorations are easy to peel off after the photo is taken. You can make a new design, take the photo and so on. This way you may not need as many styrofoam dummies.

I've ordered from www.dallasfoam.com and they had great prices on the dummies and shipping and the customer service was great.

The website is www.dallasfoam.com (take out the spaces). All this website blocking is so incredibly annoying. How are we supposed to share tips on great places to order supplies if we can't ever post the websites.

is a great supplier, but there are other great suppliers as well, and when suppliers who are not banned are mentioned, those posts are left intact.

RE: PMs

We do not manually edit your PMs, the entire website has the banned site names in the replace database. Just like cursing. It is an automated process, we have no idea who tries to PM those site names or when.
