I'm making a cupcake basket bouquet, with buttercream flowers in yellow, orange and red. I was thinking about mums, what other flowers would have a autumn look? Any pictures for inspiration? TIA.

What about daisies or sunflowers? Sunflowers come in all types of fall colors icon_smile.gif Canadian maple leaves are some of the most popular too icon_smile.gif

Just had another thought for you... you could make cute little acorns out of fondant and place one on each cupcake amongst the leaves

Don't know if the link above posted, but on flickr...there's a poster named Sweet Devotion Cupcakes and she has a photo called "fall mum cupcake bouquet".

You can also make acorns from individual caramel candies that you shape into an acorn, dip the "cap" in dark chocolate and then chocolate jimmies or non pareils.

The leaves could be made from multi fall colored candy melts by using a cleaned silk leaf with nice veining on the back to paint your chocolate onto.

I know those aren't other fall flower ideas, but just wanted to add more edible ideas to your bouquet! icon_smile.gif

The acorn idea is so cute! I like the idea of sunflowers too, because the yellow and brown says fall to me. You could do roses or carnations in any fall color.

I make acorns for the top of my cupcakes using a milk chocolate candy (the kind you melt down) and a hershey kiss.
