Ideas On How To Construct This Cake Stand?

I want to do a version of this cake but have no idea on how to do the stand. Any ideas, please?

It looks like they have used two pedestal type cake stands, the bottem one being quite tall. You can then buy ribbon/trimming with crystals attached, it looks like they have attached them to the side of the cake stands.

Can you stack two cake stands on top of each other? I have never used any type of pillars and I'm really clueless on this one. But, if you look at the second pic... it looks like two clear pillars.
Will you direct me to a site that would have the stands to create this look?
I cannot see the stand as the crystals hanging around the lower edge of each cake tier obstructs the view.

The candles look like they are sitting dead center below the bottom tier. So, I'm thinking there must be no center post. Is it possible to support it from the side?
What about using a clear acrylic tube?
I thought about that... though I'm not sure exactly which kind.
I can't figure out how to raise the bottom tier with no support under it. I'm thinking it must be bolted to the table.

freedomx4... what about two candle holders, one taller than the other. I seem to remember reading about it, and the cake board was glue to the candle holder. For the second candle holder , you would have to put a plate on top of the first cake. (maybe one of those Wilton plates??) on top of that, you would put the second candle holder. I hope this is of some help.

I don't know. I thought it might be glass gems (the kind you can buy by the bag full) and fireless LED votive candles. You can get both of those at almost any craft store.

That sounds a lot easier than what I had in mind.... and it would work well if the candle holders were clear.
I wouldn't like the plate being exposed on top of the bottom tier. Is there a way to prevent that? And does anyone have an idea how far the bottom tier would need to be from the candles to prevent burning the foam core?
I believe the light are with little tea light with batteries, not real candles.

for the plate I think you can cover it with fondant... maybe??

What about looking for plastic showcase boxes in those sizes? Would definitely be sturdy that way!
The pic with the lighted bases look just like a vase to me. We use them in our flower shop all the time. So there is another idea...a pretty shaped vase. They are pretty cheap starting out and gets more expensive the more elaborate you get. Def don't use real candles with the cake, that's a disaster waiting to happen! 
Plus if you light them then put a pad on top it will just smother out the flame because of no oxygen getting to it.
