how much to charge for a cookie cake??

I often make and decorate cakes, and am comfortable in how much I charge for them. I have a request for a cookie cake....any recommendations on pricing??

We had the same issue when we started getting requests for cookie cakes. Cookie cakes are considerably easier in terms of labor than regular cakes, but the market price for a 12" cookie cake (based on Mrs. Fields) is in the $40 range, so that's what we charge. This leaves us with a profit margin in the 30-35% range, which is higher than most other products.
