Need other alternative to cover cake pops

Hi All,

Can anyone Please help? I'm looking for something other than chocolate to cover cake pops. Any suggestions? My son can not eat chocolate. I feel bad making all these pops and he's not able to eat them.

Thank you!

There are a couple of non-chocolate recipes here:

Can he eat carob or yogurt chips? These are used in vegan baking.

Also, can he not have white chocolate or dark chocolate? They are two very different things. White chocolate is actually not a true chocolate as it is made with cocoa butter, milk and sugar.

I also suggest carob chips (although they taste horrible!) but you can flavor them. They are a vegan product made with soy and safe for animals.

I too, have the same dilemma. I was thinking I could dip them in thinned icing, even if I have to coat them a few times.

Here is a poured fondant recipe. I have not tried it but it is similar to some I have tried.
