Cream Cheese Frosting For Flower Decorations

A friend of mine just asked me to make red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for her wedding. The thing is, she wants me to pipe frosting flowers on them like these:
I'm afraid my regular frosting won't stand up to that, so I'm looking for a firmer frosting that still has cream cheese flavor. I'm thinking maybe a cream cheese SMBC? Does anyone know if that will work and/or have a good recipe? Thanks a lot!
I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't know of a cream cheese frosting that will do that. You may be able to mix the cream cheese with a real stiff buttercream and do that but it's not going to taste like cream cheese. How many cupcakes are you doing. I would practice with a bunch of recipes and combo's way before you need to do this incase she needs to switch gears.
Perhaps you could make a stiff BC but use a cream cheese flavoring for a mock cream cheese icing. Good luck!
When we make cakes with cream cheese frosting, any detailed decorations like flowers are always done in vanilla BC instead.
Your best bet is using a crusting cream cheese frosting recipe... Edna's recipe is perfect I used it here

Thanks for your advice, everyone! Fortunately I have almost a year to test and practice.
