I was looking at the photos i took of a cake i did yesterday and realised i had spealt 'congradulations' wrong!!!!
She had already picked up the cake so i rang to let her know and offered to correct it, she was insistant the she would get her mother to do it, but she also mentioned that the cake was a lot smaller than she thaught and that her mother was also going to make 12 cupcakes because the cake wouldnt be enough to feed everyone. I insisnted that i would make them free of charge as means as an apology, and im going to deliver them this afternoon.
Anyway my husband reckons this is too much as it was only 1 letter that was wrong, and when i asked how many people the cake should feed, she just said 'oh not that big, just enough so everyone gets a small slice', so this isnt my fault as well.
Im usually a cupcake person and dont do cakes, but a really good friend gave her my number and asked me to do the cake. Lesson one with cakes learnt, always get a number number of servings (never guess!) and use a dictionary if your spelling is as bad as mine.
