Trace out your design on paper and cover with wax paper, I use a light swipe of veg oil spray to help release them. after they have dried I use luster dust and alchol to paint them. I should have a picture posted. Good luck

Use candy melts and put them in a piping bag. Wiggle the bag as you pipe your design onto a parchment paper/waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze until solid.

I printed off a picture of a Coral reef that I liked and put parchment paper on top of it. I traced the design with royal icing, going over the lines at least twice to make sure that it is sturdy enough. I also put a wooden skewer or dowel at the bottom of the sheet and piped over it as part of the coral reef, and that's what I used to insert the reef into the cake.
Hope this helps.

If you microwave bright coloured royal icing for short bursts you get big coral-like rocks, don't over zap it or it will burn and let it cool before you break the rocks apart- they'll be really crumbly but attach pretty well with fresh royal.

Pipe the candy melts into a flat tray of sanding sugar, granulated sugar or sprinkles for a nice texture.
