Duncan Hines flavored mixes?

I do scratch and doctored cake mixes. DH is on sale right now so I want to stock up. I usually buy white or the coconut flavor. I am thinking of buying some of the other flavors. Anyone use DH flavored mixes that really like or dislike certain ones?
TIA

I'm just jealous that you can find the coconut. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours if I want all the other flavors. I like the strawberry. I do the WASC doctored with strawberry yogurt and Loranns. I add a little fresh strawberries too.

The lemon is good, especially with a bit of real lemon and zest added and a lemon pudding mix.

I have never seen the coconut flavor...that sounds good, especially when making coconut cake. I particularly like the spice cake. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I really like DH. I just bought the Drk Choc Fudge, Butter & red Velvet. No Plans for them but they were on sale.
DH is still 18.25 oz while BC has cut their box cakes to 15. ? and use some new ingredient to make up the difference.

I have never had a problem with a DH mix ever. I always stock up on the white but love the lemon, spice, carrot and most of the chocolates. How can you miss at $1.00 ea???? I would love it if I could find the coconut also, but as yet, it is not to be icon_sad.gif

Thanks for all the info from everyone. Mixing carrot and spice sounds really good. I bought 30 something boxes and will get more of the other flavors this week while they are on sale!

They are on sale at a local grocery store chain called Publix this week. I live in South Florida. My husband is an AA pilot (not alcoholics anonymous icon_biggrin.gif) and I have my private pilots license, hence the FLL after my name. It is the airport code for Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Maybe you can contact DH and see if they sell it to any stores near you. I think that you can order from them, but you will have to pay shipping and not get the sale price. thumbsdown.gif

I use the white, lemon, devils food, spice, Swiss chocolate and classic yellow for most all my cakes, mainly not doctored. I'm not a big fan of the red velvet or German chocolate.
If you can't find time it do it right..how will you find time to do it over?

Swiss chocolate sounds really good. I have not seen that one.

Their banana with some banana puree, a box of banana pudding and some chopped walnuts! That's my most popular flavor!

I have a question -- for those who use the DH orange mix, how do you doctor it up?
