Hello everyone!!

I have a cake due this end of September and my client wants a 3D hello kitty cake for their wedding anniversary. He said it's her wife's favorite.
Anybody can help me how to make kitty's head out of cake? Do I need to put a board on the base of the head before I attach it to the body? How do I secure it so it won't fall off its body?

Thank you so much in advance!

Treat it like a tiered cake. The head should be on it's own board (and another board at the waist if the cake it large enough to warrant it) with dowels underneath it. Hammer a bamboo skewer or sharpened dowel through the whole thing into the board below (maybe a couple extra boards thick) and it will stay put.
