Hey guys!

I'm looking for a really good vanilla buttercream that is not to sweet and that can withstand very humid environments. I'm looking for a true vanilla flavored icing to ice cupcakes. Ive tried indydebi's buttercream and buttercream dream but i find that they are very sweet and I prefer to ice cakes with it.

ANny help?? Pleaseicon_smile.gif

Have you tried adding a little salt to your buttercream? Start with a little and add more until you get the desired sweetness. The salt really cuts the sweet. I use only a pinch.

I make SMBC (swiss meringue butter cream) when I don't want something too sweet. It's light, fluffy and yummy. It doesn't crust, so know that in advance. You can find the recipe for it under the recipe section.
