Bigboots, thanks again for all your help and patience. Here is the end result of the cake. After almost two hours I couldn't stand it no longer and went for it, everything was going pretty good and then the legs and tail broke off and I had to piece them together, but all in all it was a learning experience and the lady came by and picked up the cake and was happy
I don't know why but this pic looks dark on my end, anyway I used blue sugar sprinkles on top for the sky and green half way down to bottom for grass
Thanks Squirrelly, but I just noticed his tail looks like a golf club, ha-ha, but I don't think the little two year old birthday girl will notice
Now sshhh, I thought you did that on purpose to make it look cuter. The thing with critters, even registered critters, is they have to have something kind of unusual or silly, to make them look cute. So the shape of his tail makes him look cuter, I think! You did a wonderful job!
Hugs Squirrelly
Great job!! I think it turned out really cute!! As far as his tail and legs breaking off, well, this is what helps me, after i have filled in all of the colors for the image, I use the color of the background (of the cake) and go over the entire image and fill in the gap so it is one big piece. So if you are looking at it from the side that will be touching the cake your image might look like a big circle. This will give the pieces that are smaller or that would stick out more support. I don't know if any of this made sense but in my sleep deprived mind it did LOL. Hope it helps some.
Your very welcome irisinbloom, anytime.Glad i could help.
I think it looks great. Love the back ground.
I didn't notice where it broke you did a very good job.
