I wouldn't pay for it. Everything you may need is right here at cake central...for FREE! Plus...you have tons of people here ready to offer you help, tips, and advice. icon_biggrin.gif

I've been wondering about My Cake School also. How much is it to join?

My Cake School is a VERY good site! Even if you already know how to do majority of the skills, the support and the personal response from a very experienced caker, is well worth the $30/year. Plus, no viruses like some free sites give you. I highly recommend it!

I also think my cake school is great. She just recently redid her site to make it even easier to find what I'm looking for. I still use CC and other websites for help but consider my cake school just one more source.

I was looking into that too and am thinking of joining. I've seen some of their picture tutorials that I thought were very informative.

I joined My Cake School a few months ago and for $30 a year you do get your money's worth. The instructor is Melissa Diamond and she is a very good instructor. Her video tutorials are very clear and easy to follow. The websites has recipes, a blog and many ideas for cupcakes.

She just updated her website and made it iPad friendly, hooray! It is another source to learn new techniques, enhance your skills, or have a different way of doing things.

In today"s economy, a $30 tuition bill for a 1 year cake course- you can't go wrong. icon_smile.gif

It is great. And when you think about it, the price of $30 for a full year breaks down to less than $3 a month. That is cheaper than any cake magazine. Not only is there new stuff weekly, you have access to any of the previously posted tutorials since she started it.
I highly recommend it.
