Black Mmf, Does It Have To Be Chocolate Flavored??
Decorating By Lovelyladylibra Updated 6 Sep 2011 , 12:43am by Lovelyladylibra
I want to get true black mmf but dont want to have to start off with a chocolate base. Any tips on getting really black mmf without the cocoa powder?
I just use a lot of black gel paste when making my fondant, I add the color as soon as the marshmallows are melted and before adding the powdered sugar.
To get true black you would need a lot of black.
Options:
1. Color your fondant gray and then over spray it with an airbrush or canned spray.
2. Buy colored fondant in a tub.
I plan on trying black candy melts since they are out for Halloween. A member from here posted instructions from her blog:

I made the red and it tastes awesome and is easy to work with.
