Do you have a specific t-shirt design or emblem? I would use that and make that the theme of your cake.

Do the traditional dog wood cake but instead of blossoms use leaves with family members names

Years...and I mean 30 or so years...ago I did a sheet cake that was a patchwork quilt. Every family member's name was on a patch. In the middle I wrote something like "a patchwork of love"
Corny? yeah.
But my husband's grandma loved it.

I just did one this weekend. It was a 3 tier and the top was a tree with roots on each tier and the leaves had some of the older family members. I had the family name on the top the middle tier said family reunion and the bottom tier said our roots run deep. It didn't come out as well as I'd liked it too (too many issues with different parts of it) but they all loved it. The tree was made out of RKTs.

I found a Precious Moments picture that had a little boy and girl kissing over a mailbox. I was thinking it would be cute with the caption of "It started with a kiss" and then the years if you wanted. the tree idea is cute too though.

I made a family reunion cake. I done a 12 in round yellow cake with a styrofoam cone covered in fondant maded in the shape of a tree. Check out my photos and check it out. The blue drops have the name of the family members that has past away.
