Hi!

I was planning to set up a booth at a craft show being held for the first time ever and wanted to sell cupcakes and brownies and also draw new customers since I am just starting out.

My question is: How do I show the cupcake designs that I can do? Do I make cupcakes and decorate each one differently and set them on a stand? That would take a lot of effort.

Or should I just have pictures? I was thinking of printing 4x6 photos and pinning them on a posterboard in front of the booth.

The ones that I am selling will be mini cupcakes and just have a swirl with maybe some sprinkles that I plan to sell for a $1 each.

Thanks for your help!!

I think I would decorate them. There's something special about seeing the actual product in front of you. Sell the plain ones, and use the decorated ones as displays icon_smile.gif

Thanks bakerliz... I guess I'll decorate them but there are so many designs!!! Any ideas on which ones will be popular??? I'm so confused as this is my first time at a craft show!

Hi!

I found this person on youtube who has a whole host of ideas a little different (better suited to children for the most part)- but always an idea for something different!

Otherwise, I still love a nice rose swirl- you could try two tone icing to make it look really glam!

I would do your best sellers, your favorite designs, and a few that are really elaborate and out of the box, just so people know what you can do icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks... I guess I'll do some holiday-themed designs and fondant work too.
