Hi Laura,

Latex is different from Silicone - It must be painted on in many layers. It is not very resistant to high temperatures and most often is not safe "Food Grade"

Silicone can be poured over the bottle, is stable at high temperatures and the silicones available from my website are food grade and have passed all the testing requirements requested by the FDA.

hi Laura, I made a case of beer complete with sugar bottles using the kit from Dominics site. They came out fantastic!! The copyflex is really easy to work with and his video is great!!! The only thing I caution you on is when you pour the copyflex into the mailing tube if the seal is not perfect you will get a leak!! It happenned to me and I thought my seal was fine, so i had to buy more copyflex. : ( I went to the nearest mailing store and bought the little caps that go on the end of the tube and attached my bottle to that and had no problem at all.
