Hi all
I want a chocolate cake recipe that tast good and hold well, becuase I tried many times the Hershey's perfect chocolate cake and similer recipies ( all are arround2 cups sugar, 1-3/4 or 2 cups flour, 3/4 cup Cocoa, 2 eggs,1 cup milk, 1/2 cup oil, 1 cup hot coffee) but it always cracks and it never hold under fondant. help?!

thanks! may be I really dont measure baking powder and soda carefully! but dose this mean that you use this recipe under fondant and it hold well and the problem is from my measurements?

I've used the Hershey's cake multiple times and have not had a problem. My thought was that you had mentioned using multiple recipes and having the same problem with them all, so it most likely isn't the recipes, just some little quirk that needs adjusted. Good luck! icon_smile.gif
