hi all,

I want to attempt to create a cake similar to this one and i want to know what is the best way to write on this cake and create those faint lines.

It looks like the lines are just piped on with gray icing.

You could maybe try an icing pen (not sure what they're called). It wouldnt make the raised line that icing would, I would imagine. And it would be easy to draw onto the fondant.

you can also thin out gel color with vodka (or extract of your choice) and paint it on with a brush.
