Im just starting to get into the cake decorating business...professionally speaking. I'm looking for a catchy name that uses the letter L and my name, Lena. So far, everything that we've come up with sounds like I belong in a different line of work.
Any help would be appreciated.

hehehehe, I did not think cakes, I thought a "special men's spa" if you know what I mean! LOL! Not meant to offend, but that is a hard one! I had a similar problem, I just grabbed a thesaurus and began looking for names similar to sweets, or desserts, or cakes, and I found Confections Custom Couture Cakes!! Don't steal it please LOL! I still have not filed ALL the needed paper work 
Have you tried looking through a dictionary or thesaurus under L? You might find words that are suitable you might not think of otherwise.
Personally I think Lena's Cakes or Lena Cake Designs is catchy enough. Alliteration is cute at first, but by the hundredth time you've said an alliterative name on the phone you will probably regret it.
I do like Lena's Lovely Cakes, Cakes by Lena also sounds very classy though I think just "Lena's" is nice. I picture it on the front of a building in some beautiful font. It also sounds very high end...I can imagine the "in crowd" going to a party and saying "Did you order this from Lena's?" Sound's expensive

How about "Dulce de Lena" as a play on words of dulce de leche?
This is good, but I would put cake in the title for google purposes........just my thought. But I don't really know that much about the internet. Purhaps her business will still "pop" up whenever someone does a search in her area and just types in cakes. I really don't know. Does it have something to do with the way you register your domain........Anyone? Can you enlighten me on this?
What about : Lena in a beautiful font, then Cake Designs in a smaller block font under that. Maybe angle the Lena just a little with the second line just a bit to the right.

Searches use the meta tags in your web page (code that isn't seen when you view the site)
So, your business could be Peter's Plumbing and if you have cake in your meta tag, it would show on a search for cake.
