I used it for a French Vanilla WASC cake (with French Vanilla cake mix), and I also have made a FV WASC with just regular vanilla and FV cake mix. I think both cakes turned out about the same--it didn't give it an extra FV flavor. In my opinion, I would just stick with a good pure vanilla.
