my niece is a teacher and thought a fun class this year would be candy making...seeing as I have been doing it for years she asked if I could help. I took candy classes but mostly adults. She has about 30 mins for class and I could use some ideas for 3-4 graders? Need to keep it interesting and simple...I have mothers/fathers day covered but need to know where to start. Thanks.

Not sure what medium you want to use...melting choc in a microwave, then pouring into plastic molds is very easy for kids. My granddaughter likes to make the choc covered Oreos (using the mold).
You could also have them cut designs out of MMF with cookie cutters...

when I started with my classes we just made truffles, chocolate coated whatevers, and then progressed to molds and 3D candies...I guess I will start with the candy coated whatevers...yes I love the oreos as well..thanks a bunch...just trying to put together a timeline of ideas for beginners.
