Hi all
Im making a wizards hat for my little girl. Its a long pointed cone and I'm having trouble putting the fondant on, it's breaking. Should I use one very large piece of fondant to go over/ on top of hat or should I make it in two pieces and join the together on the side? Any other ideas???

I would wrap a piece of cardboard around the carved cake and make a pattern. Then cut out the fondant and wrap it like a bandage around the cake. HTH
