I wonder what the fondant tastes like and if you can get other colors besides ivory??
I'm just a hobbiest, and don't have to knead/roll fondant every day, but holy cow that's expensive! $25 for one sheet that will cover a 14" round. I think I'll stick with rolling my own in my fondant mat.
By the way, the article does say that he's coming up with other colors soon.
We've been able to buy ready-rolled fondant in the UK for years, already cut into a circle. Ok, only in white and only to cover an 9" cake, but I missed that when I moved Stateside!
I can only see this being of use to someone making a 'one off' cake for a kids birthday or something like that. The price is not justifiable otherwise & if it tears like it does in the video than it is of no use professionally either bc if you have to then mix it up and roll it out to get a smooth uniform fondant then what's the point?

Like you never had tears on your fondant ever? He was just showing how it is done FAST for TV !!!! TV cameras do not and CANNOT wait for perfection. This man has 20 years of experience and has perfected fondant. Well let's see you on TV doing all that work that FAST !! besides, that was a dummy he was working on, so that won't be sold and eaten..
You are right! I actually just thought that the fondant seemed very thin but looking at it from your point of view I stand corrected. Although, don't they edit this stuff? (just a thought).
Live TV cannot and will not be edited... it is what it is.. I have done it b4..
It looks so plasticy and unappetising. I'd rather save long and hard for a sheeter if I want to cut my workload.
Interested to see how it ships in this heat. I'll wait for reviews too, but I wish I'd thought of it first! lol

First of all, there is no reason to yell, it was only an observation and opinion. Second of all, I never said that I never had tears in my fondant, I just think its a lot of money for something that could turn into an issue. And finally, calm down, it's not that serious. Geez.

Well that is his fault. Look at the drama and doubt it is causing, just due to him refusing to not have it edited.
Certain things are fine for live TV, showing off your living and not having perfected it for live TV would not be one of mine. If I am "forced" to do it live, then I would dang well have it perfected where all these people (like this forum) wouldn't be questioning my methods or product. If I was showing how to do something with a cake but am a hobby baker that doesn't base my life off of what I'm doing, then I would agree with live TV.
You are right, it is what it is. And his profits will be what they will be. 
ridiculous, how long would that last in the packaging, i would need 4 sheets for the cake I'm baking on the 15th, so that's over $100.00 plus tax and shipping. If it had no tears in it and i was a total newbie, maybe I woulod consider it, if I had $ to throw around, anyway good luck to him if he has buyers for his actual idea which is not a bad one

People have a right to comment on anything that is posted. No one here has made any rude comments toward him, just the product as they are seeing it advertized.

BINGO !! that's right, including myself. 
I was just thinking this morning that I might enjoy cake decorating if I had someone to knead fondant and roll little balls to go around the bottom! Hehe....I cant afford pre[-rolled and I'm in a very rural area...nobody here would absorb that cost in the price of a cake. But a good idea for those who can.
