I had lovely sugar bottles made last night and when I got up this morning they had melted. Two out of three of them have fallen to the sideicon_sad.gif Does anyone know what I can do get bottles that don't melt?

real sugar will give in to humidity. using isomalt and making sure it is cooked to the correct temp will set sturdy. you didn't put the bottles in the fridge, did you?

No, I left them on the counter in an air-conditioned room... I don't have anywhere to buy isomalt. I guess I'll order it online next time. Thanks!

I live in Houston, Texas which is SUPER humid.
The only times my sugar and isomalt have melted is if I didn't "cook" the sugar long enough.
