I'm starting the wilton class 3 next week and man, am I behind. I haven't gotten the kit nor the book yet. Could someone share with me what items are needed for course 3. I've been purchasing lots of items recently and was thinking I may not need to purchase the kit but pick up the few items I don't have. I was making my shopping list and thought while i'm out tonight I'd pick everything up. Thanks!

the course 3 kit includes the following:
Rose Boquet flower cutters (5)
Gum-Tex
Thin and Thick foam squares (1each)
8in Bakers Best Plate
7" Baker's Best Pillars (4)
Tips 18, 68, 352, 86, 127
1 5/8" Lily nail
Fine Artist's Brush
Ball and veining tool
Cake sparkles
Cake Dividing wheel

And then of course your book...
I think it would be a better deal to just buy the kit. Of course this is only my opinion.

And in the first lesson all you are going to need is buttercream icing. You will be doing (according to the book) string work, cornelli lace, sotas, bead borders, brush embroidery, ruffle boders and garland and the fondant rose-part 1.

I hope this helps. And good luck.
