I am teaching myself how to use fondant. I was on youtube and a lady was using a mat for fondant. I was thinking of ordering one and was wondering if anyone has one and if you like it. It really seems great. If any of you would like to see the product in use here is the web site . Thanks everyone for your help. And if any of you have this product please let me know what you think about it. Have a wonderful Friday!!! http://www.youtube.com/SweetWiseInc

I love it! It cuts down on the powdered sugar or corn starch. My only regret is not finding it sooner!

LOVE LOVE LOVE mine! There are already a few threads on here about "The Mat" if you want to look them up. Some people have had some problems with pock marks on their fondant and one or two other things it seems.
I really cuts down on mess and im no longer nervous just thinking about covering a large cake. Im also notorious for not rolling out enough fondant and then having to add more and re-roll (grumbling the whole time grr) so its great I can just add more to the middle and roll is out withough having to colour match it.

Good luck. To me it is totally worth the money

I love mine too! I am thinking of buying another one to cut into smaller sizes to use for rolling gum paste for flowers and small projects.

Thanks fellow cake makers for replying to my question. I am going to order one. I will let everyone know how I like it. I am sure I will. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. I go back to work next week so I will not be on the web-site as much. I teach first and second graders and just love it. I have been told to quit teaching and just bake cakes, but I would miss my kid's so much. Hope everyone had a great summer.
