hello everyone.
can anyone please guide me to a tutorial, or even just some tips, into making a fondant cowboy hat? Please note I am a beginner when it comes to fondant.
I dont want a cowboy hat shaped cake just to clairfy, but I would like to make some fondant cowboy hats to top my cake pops for "lego themed indiana jones" cake pops lol.

Thank you in advance!

You could always buy a candy mold. It should be about the right size for cake pops. I would use a 1:1 ratio of fondant to gumpaste to help your hats hold their shape better. icon_smile.gif

I needed a cowboy hat for a western cake a while back and tried and tried without success. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a felt one. They had several sizes. I covered it with Press 'n' Seal and then placed my fondant over it until it was almost dry. I removed it and it worked out GREAT! Just my quick fix idea.
