I've been asked to make cupcakes for a youth church function. They want the cupcakes to also serve as the centerpieces on the tables - 8 tables with 8 cupcakes on each table. Any ideas for how to pull this off?? Some kind of way to make an easy pyramid stand of something? I'm brain dead on this one! icon_confused.gif Please help!

How about collecting 8 different cake plates/servers? you could just use upside down boxes covered with linens.

I like the cupcake bouquet idea.

You could probably find everything you need at the dollar store or if you wanted to do them in baskets, find mismatched baskets at a thrift store.

What about a raised cake plate/stand on each table? 8 cupcakes should fit easily on a cake plate. Or you could diy individual stands. I think these are adorable and seem easy and cheap -

All of these are great ideas, but those individual stands are ADORABLE! I'm going to have to make those ASAP.

Oh my gosh, I love you guys! Such amazing and cute ideas! LOVE the topiary, the stands, the bouquet....all of it. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif I'm leaning toward the bouquets for this one but I'm definitely saving the others for future use. Now to figure out how to make those bouquets. Anyone? icon_smile.gif

This is a great idea for those old pie pans you find at thrift stores and yard sales! I'm putting my hubby to work!
