Have you tried e-bay. They have quite a lot of cake plates, platters, regular plates, etc. maybe try that.

What exactly are you looking for? Stands, plates, or what? Robert Edward Woodworking makes displays. Or you could look at catering supply sites to see what they have for serving, but you can use it as a display. Or just get various candlestick holders and place the cupcakes on those.

we were in a party store the other day (were in ohio) and they had pretty crystal look trays that had spaces on the tray for I think a doz cupcakes..
it was a great display tray and it had the cupcake pan type places for the cupcakes and "finger" spaces so you didn't destroy anything trying to pick them up. And they being clear were very pretty and would go with any colors.. and I think they were $5.89 or something each. I could kick myself that I didn't buy any while I was there.

I think it was card factoy or card party place.. or the party place that was it.. it is a chain of party stores for balloons and costumes and everything for parties.

I've been looking for trays myself forever!
I tried to post a picture but for some reason I'm not able to do so.
The trays I want are similar to the ones that Sprinkles Cupcakes sale, but you can fit 24 cupcakes instead of just 12, they're white-plastic with 24 hinges.
I've seen many business on facebook that use these but I can't find them :*(

Cupcake sprinkles sell their trays, but to fit 24. Perhaps if you contacted them?

Thank you Saberger, I've seen these inserts before (much cheaper at ama zon . com). The ones that Sprinkles sells to the public only fit 12, the ones they use at their store are different and I doubt they sell those, custom designed by some famous architech, both of them.

I will keep looking, if one of the places I've email replies back I will let you know.

This is vague and subject to ones own personal taste. If you could be more specific.

What is your display look like? Do you have pics? What theme are you going for? Refrigeration an issue? What is your color scheme, you genre, your overall look of the bakery? What if someone suggested a cool asian theme look at you are doing shabby chic? It would just be useless information instead of helpful.

I could think that a certain plate looks cute and it could not be your taste. Your best bet is so search the "google". You can find some great ideas out there if you are willing to take the time to look.

I feel your pain.  I also have been stalking these trays.  I finally found them at coldcoreinc.com for $29.00.  They hold a dozen cupcakes, they're plastic and they also custom make them according to size and color.  Have fun.  Also, check Google.  Type in "cupcake display trays".

They hold a dozen cupcakes, they're $29.99 each, and they also custom make them if you'd like.  Also, go to Google and type in "cupcake display trays" and view the images -  you may see something else that you like.  Good luck.
