My little boy turns two on Saturday and for his cake I am making a white chocolate mud cake - was hoping somebody might have a yummy suggestion for a filling.
I am in the mood for trying something different so hoping you might all be able to provide me with some much needed inspiration!
How about a fruit filling? Raspberries or strawberries. You could do a strawberries and cream filling. Lemon curd is popular with my family a little on the puckery side to balance the sweet. Hope that helps a little.
White chocolate ganache, My kids love their favorite candy bar chopped up and sprinkled over a pudding filling, the p-nut butter cup in white chocloate pudding has become a fav of clients too. hth
How about the Oreo Buttercream that is shown on the front page of CC as a new recipe? Sounds delicious and probably a fav w/kids.

i would do a cookies or candy bar chopped up...sorry curtsmin but most children don't like the fruit fillings :p
No need to apologize. It was just something different from the usual cookies and cream and chocolate ganache fillings, which are both very popular for kids. Here in Florida strawberries are very popular with the kiddos. The candy fillings are a really good option too, snickers is my fave.
That definately gives me something to think about - lots of yummy ideas guys, tough with the fruit over here at the moment (NZ) cos we are in the middle of winter and so nothing is in season but I might be able to get some frozen berries???
Otherwise the candy through the filling would be nice... maybe even Pinky bars would work - YUM!
