Hi there , can someone please give me insight on how to go about making this darn hat AGAIN .
The first time I did it I cut a 16oz styrofoam cup about half way, then I folded the edges covered in saran wrap and just placed the fondant over and molded it. Then I added a saran wrapped lime in the middle of the cup for the little bulge in the middle. I had done one On Monday for this cake I have for tomorrow but I accidently dropped it and it is sooooo.....................not fixable.

Now Im really trying to make another one but my fondant keeps tearing, I have added gum-paste and still nothing. Im just going crazy trying to make one , I figured okay I will buy one but now Michaels doesn't carry those hats anymore . I am making this cake for my firend I really do not want to spend big $$$ on a doll just to get the hat.

Any ideas ???????
