I'm not sure why anyone would want to replicate that stuff but isn't Rich's Bettercreme pretty much what they use at WalMart?

Here's a link to the product I was talking about. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see it.

I asked at walmart and they sent me to sams. YOu have to let them know ahead of time that you want it. I went there and that is what they told me. I get mine in liquid form, qt. size and whip it. I have a friend that owns a cafe and she gets it for me. hth lots of people love it. my daughter had me to use it on her last b/d cake. i was happy to do it for her. just because some people don.t like it, doesn,t mean you have to degrade it here on this site. Lots of professionals here on this site use it also. beautiful cakes with it. You can make the flavor you want by add different things. great to work with.

I too, like mudderteresa would love to have a recipie to make a good, stable whipped type frosting.
I've had several people ask if I could make (and decorate with) a whipped frosting and I've come up with nothing, but I would love too.

You can use Pastry Pride if you have a smart and final store close to you. you will find it there on the frozen section.
