Duff Airbrush At Michaels? Worth It? Or.. Not?

Quick! I'm going out in about an hour with my coupon for 40% off... is this one worth it, or should I wait for the one I *really* want?
Mine ended up breaking the first time I used it and I took it back. Could just have been a bad one but I'm definitely going to get a different one. The duff airbrush worked fine while it worked.
It's the pegasus model with Duff labeling. I have been using the pegasus one for several month now without complaints.
Actually Reva from Merci beaucoup cakes just started doing reviews of cake stuff and lucky you this is her first one!

Same here, it worked for about 30 seconds before breaking.
Thanks all! I'm going out now to get one. Will update when I get a chance to use it (which may not be right away).
for the price with the 50% off coupon it sounds like a good deal. i just read the reviews and it sounds like for hobby bakers it will work well.
now if micheals would just sell an edible printer where you can use your 50% off coupon i would be really happy!
does anyone know if you can put 'dust' into an airbrush?
if so do you add vodka with it?
I hate the airbrush by duff. It broke halfway through.
i got the silver and it turned out this weird blue color. I wouldnt use them again
I haven't had a chance to write about this but my Duff airbrush broke, after just 4 uses!
FAIL!
Reva
I got mine when I had a 40% coupon also. I bought the airbrush and 5 colors for 95$ it was awesome!!! I've used it multiple times without problems and I absolutely love it!
OK well timed, I was thinking about getting it as a "starter" airbrush but now I know to skip it. I don;t love Duff so I was hesitant to buy it just because it'll put more money in his pocket. Now I'm glad I had that bias
Thanks!
PS, we miss you and Mark, Reva!
I bought 4 cans, all 4 cans did not work. took them back. it put me far behind on my cake.
have had mine for about 2 months now and so far love it....with the coupon it seems like a great little piece of equipment for the price.
I'm loving mine. It's quiet, super easy to use, and easy to clean. But now I'm a little worried.... when some of you say... and then it broke.... will you please describe what you mean by "broke." Maybe if we know what to watch for we can do what we can to avoid it.... I'm hoping
I'm going to buy one today (only because I have a 50% off coupon) I will write a review when I use it! I've heard good and bad.
I used mine 5 times before the nozzle lever broke. Thank goodness I had the backup Wilton sprays, and did not need a "fine" spray, on my finished product. Wouldn't recommend, for long term usage.
