so, i have this MOB that is starting to drive me a little crazy. She originally wanted my cherry blossoms cake that I have in my photos but when we met she gave me different colors to work with and now she is a little TOO relaxed on what she wants me to do So, the brides colors are lavender and a light blue; don't get me wrong i like these two colors! But she wanted me to send more ideas on how to do the cake that she originally liked and i was confused, cuz i was just trying to change the colors of the flowers for her. NOW I did it sent her a couple other designs and they want to COMBINE ideas....but i feel that these are two totally different cakes!

I've already asked about specifics of what the bride likes (she's in oregon and mom is nearby so MOB is sending all the emails)

but i wanted to see what you guys thought

I was thinking.... do as the original design... instead of pink flowers, make it purple. Then add more little flowers to incorporate the 3rd pic, and add some butterflies. I think that would be fine.

Ditto, do the original design, maybe make the top a little fuller with the flowers, purple flowers, throw a few butterflies on it and be done! Sounds like THEY don't really know what they want, so im sure they would be happy with what ever you come up with!!! Sometimes you just gotta leave it to the pro! Good luck!

i don't think they really do know what they want they are a little too relaxed for me and reception is at MOG house!

I did suggest changing the flower colors already...but they didn't respond. do they want ONE purple color or multiple?? it's like geesh, just give me some definitive answers!

Maybe to narrow it down, ask her to pick ONE thing on each cake they like the best. Then try to incorporate them together? For instance, if they like the shape of the flowers on the first cake, the ribbon on the second cake and the "confetti" look of the flowers positioned on the third cake- you could do all of them!

I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE BRIDE! *phew* finally! she was still kinda vague but at least I can email HER now!
