Does anyone have a picture of what your label looks like that you wouldn't mind sharing?? I am going to start putting these labels together soon and I just don't even know where to begin.
Anyone with advice, opinions or input PLEASE help me. LOL

I use a sticky label and affix it to the bottom of my cake board. On the label I put my name, address, phone number, then under that I do something like:
White Cake: Flour, Oil, Sugar, Baking powder, Applesauce, Salt, Sour Cream, Eggs, Water, Pudding mix
Cookie & Cream Filling: Shortening, Dream Whip, Flavorings, Powered sugar, Half & Half, Broken cookies
Crumb Coat: Semi- sweet Chocolate, Heavy whipping cream
Covering: Rolled Fondant (Powered sugar, Flavorings, glycerin, citric acid and preservative)

It depends on where you live as these laws are usually controlled on the county level. Call your local DOH or DOA and they can tell you.
The label info/location depends on where you live. I can't just list flour, sugar, pudding... I have to include all the ingredients that make up each product. For example:
Flour (list of ingredients on flour bag), sugar (list of ingredients on sugar bag), pudding (list of ingredients on pudding box)...
I also have to include the weight of the product.
question...i see what you mentioned for how you label your cakes. but do you have to put the sub ingredients for example: when you say pudding mix, dont you have to mention what makes up the pudding mix??? my issue is how do i fit all those ingredients on that small label. (i make cupcakes, and dont they have to be individually wrapped?)

Generally labels can be attached to the invoice/receipt if the product is too small for a label.
