i've never used a edible image, so my question is how does it stick to the "candy" bottle (hard candy or chocolate?) also my walmart wont make them (copyright) but there is a lady in town who can do them but she is charging 20 bucks for one sheet that seem high to me? any one know if this is a good price or not. would it just be easier to buy my own printer?

That seems a little high to me. I think most people charge around $10/sheet. If you use a lot of edible image it would be cheaper to get your own set up. I got my canon mp0560 on ebay for a great price and get my supplies from icingimages. IMO their ink is superior to other brands.

That's HIGH! It's normally $10per sheet..but if you are desperate enough this time around to need this.,,then you may have to go with it.

For $13/sheet I'd definately be getting my own system.

thank you all so much, yeah i guess i will just be buying my own. i don't plan on using it that much, but i know you have to print something every so often ( i'm sure my kids will be upset with there favorite character on some cupcakes icon_biggrin.gif ) i'm in no hurry to make this cake so i have plenty of time to play and shop around, just a hobby baker who loves to here the people at my hubbys work tell me how wonderful i am icon_lol.gif thanks again, oh yeah are the edible sheets sticky or how do i get them to stay in place?

I print something on paper once a week to keep the ink flowing and have no problems. The sheets aren't sticky but a little piping gel or a very light mist of water holds them in place. Icingimages sends instructions with their sheets.
