Hi everyone. I started baking my childrens cakes and posting my pics on the net and now I have orders. I am very excited for this . I now have a friend getting married in 6 days and her aunt is a baker that was supposed to do her wedding cake. My friend just called and asked if I could do it because her aunt is ill. I can do it I think but I really need a perfect white wedding cake recipe that holds up well when stacked. If someone could help me I would be forever greatful. Thanks.

The go to recipe on cc is the wasc (white almond sourcream cake) it does use a mix and its doctored. It is in the recipe section on cc. There are alot of good recipes in the recipe section, and they are reviewed by people so maybe you can find something there.

there are so many recipes on here that I really don't know where to start. I would prefer a cake that is completely from scratch. Thank you for your reply. I will keep searching
