Smbc Question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't remember the answer. Here's my question, "can you put fondant over SMBC"? I'll be making SMBC for the first time soon and I'm not sure how it holds up under fondant. Thanks for your input!

you sure can, I only use SMBC and most of my cakes have fondant, never had a problem (knocking on wood)

Yes you can, get your Smbc really smooth using the hot knife method then chill it until hard, then you can cover it with fondant. Don't attempt to cover it unchilled, it gets super messy. Ask me how I know icon_wink.gif
