Hey ladies!!! I am doing my sil's wedding cake next Friday. We have made the cakes, and they are frozen in the deep freeze. Any way, I have a few questions.

I have an ivory column set and was thinking of doing hidden tiers, but am now considering stacked tiers. I have never done a wedding cake. I know I would want to use the Wilton plastic dowels. I have a few questions.'

1. What are the chances of the cakes falling, caving, or tilting with plastic dowels?

2. Do I use cardboard rounds under each layer as the "support for each layer? If so, should I use two for each layer?

3. If I use the rounds, should they be the exact size of each layer? How do I keep them from showing? Do I wrap them in foil?

4. How do I put in a center dowel??

I have a book (wilton) that explains all of this stuff, but I still have these questions.
