I need to make flowers in various shades of purple. Any idea how to get an orchid color? Or a wine purple? Also, what is the best green food color or combination to make lush green grass color?

To make a more wine colored purple, you can add a little red to the purple to make a red violet. I start off with a light color to make some flowers and little by little add more color to what I have already mixed. This way the colors are all tonal and blend better. As far as the green, to make a limey electric green, add a true green to yellow. the more you add, the more limey it will be. To make it more earthy green, not a primary green, add a touch of brown to tone it down. Hope this helpsicon_smile.gif
