Where is the cheapest place to buy single serve bulk cupcake containers on line or anywhere? I want to buy a few cases

This place has lots of container styles. They have baking supplies too. OP mentioned case quantities, but for a hobby bakers (like me) they are great because they allow you to order small quantities as long as you meet a $ amount - which is reasonable.

Here is my hidden secret for bakery display boxes, like clamshell cupcake containers. Try your local grocery stores (most) if you ask the bakery manager will order case quantities of anything they have for you! And the best part is you don't have to pay shipping and it only takes like 2 or three days before they have another truck delivery.

It is awesome!! I just love different packaging options so it's great. I order containers and 60lbs tubs of buttercream from my Albertsons so I always have some on hand, love them! Andrea

Another option for individual cupcake packaging is to take a 9oz clear plastic cup and lid. Put the cupcake on the lid and then put attach the cup over the cupcake.

I do the 9 oz. cup and lid too. But I also have the brp boxes. It depends on your application.

I would love to see a pic of the 9 oz. cup and lid and where to buy them. I have also been looking for a cheap alternative for cupcakes, as I am only a hobby baker on a very small scale but cupcakes are what I sell the most. Thanks so much!

Here's a quick shot of a cupcake in a 9oz cup. I buy mine at GFS. You can probably get them at any restaurant supply store. I also looked at Costco but they didn't have them. I have heard that Sam's does but I don't go to Sam's so I dunno.

I use a 9oz sundae cup with the lid as the base, the good thing about them is the lid is deep and keeps them in nicely, i live in Canada and buy from Real Canadian Wholesale Club, ill try to attach a pic

Dart makes both the top and bottom. They are all over the web.

I do them using the dome tops too in case I have decorations that end up getting a little tall. But I like the flat lid used as a base too. I'll definitely try that method now too!

The whole cup/lid thing is so cool thanks for sharing..... Canadians: I live in a small town & we dont have the wholesale club... any idea if anyone else sells them (walmart-zeller-canadian tire-rona-superstore??)

Cupcations, I checked every single store here in Lethbridge-including all the ones u listed lol, the only place i found cups and lids like the ones in my pics was the Wholesale Club, i was originally just looking for a 8/9oz cup with lids, but they only have 12oz and up here, so i ended up using the sundae cups. I hope you can find something, what province are you in?

scp... the brand is "SOLO". I got them at Cash&Carry.

The thing that I don't like about putting the cuppies in the cup vs on the lid is that it's nearly impossible to get the cupcake back out of the cup without a huge mess.

They make a mess when they hit the sides no matter what. I put them in the cup because it is less opportunity for it to fall out while they are tying to get the "bottom" off. I try to frost them so that the frosting doesn't hang over the sides and it is not too tall to grab with their fingertips. It's the best I can figure. And the upright cup matches the shape of the cupcake. Just my preference. I also use this for samples if I take it to them (acquaintances only, strangers come to me). I cut the cake with a scalloped biscuit cutter, swirl icing , add a layer, for three layers and pretty swirled frosting between each layer and a rosette on top. I label the cups.

I have a few cupcakes left over from selling at the farmer's market yesterday sitting in front of me right now. They are in the upside down cups and not touching the sides at all. *shrug*

They touch the sides if the customer turns them a little to take off the top... not us causing the touching.
