Making a sleepover cake for tomorrow and was wondering how long can I crumb coat the cake and should I leave it in the fridge till I ice it.

Any help appreciated. icon_smile.gif

I usually fill & crumb coat on thursdays and do the finish icing & decorting on fridays, I let the cake sit in the fridge overnight and have never had a problem.

Thanks AmyCakes I am going to try that. I figured it would ice better if I did the crumb coat early.

Thanks Again,

It doesn't need to go in the fridge unless you has a filling that has to be kept cold.

I would just crumb coat it and leave it out.
