Hi all I am wanting to make some cake pops that look like billiard balls. I have never attempted these. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. icon_smile.gif

What a cute idea...I would think that they would be very simple to make...Dip each ball in all the colors of the billirad balls..Add the tiny numbers as cutouts or use an edible marker. I would also do the detailing of the white circles on the balls etc. Good luck

Hello! I know this post is kinda late but I made billiard ball cake pops last week for a father's day raffle at work.
I will admit that it was quite time consuming as you have to tint white melting chocolate into 8 different colors. I used some precolored Wilton melts for some colors and added candy dye to make the desired colors.
When making black, I would suggest starting with dark chocolate and then adding the black. If you can get the melts in black, that would be best as it take almost a whole tiny jar of gel dye.
I made them double the size, 2Tbsp. so they were the actual size of billiard balls. For the numbers, I spread out melted white chocolate on parchment paper and used a cake decorator tip to cut out small circles when set.
I then used an edible marker to draw the numbers (2 of each) and then glued(with melts) onto the pops.
I arranged them in a bouquet and voila! They looked great!
