Hello all!

I have a question regarding airbrushing:

Is there any way to airbrush my cake INDOORS without a "tent"? Last time I tried, I ended up with a blue "dust" all over my kitchen and several other rooms in my apartment, and I hadn't even used the airbrush much. I notice on television (I hate to reference Ace of Cakes, but in this case I'm thinking WTF?) that they airbrush indoors all the time and they don't seem to have issues...

Is there maybe a way to change the nozzle on my airbrush gun to avoid this situation? I'm very confused, and my compressor/gun didn't come with instructions...go figure.

Any advice is welcome! Thank you all so much!

Kayla

I don't know, but is it something to do with the pressure being too high? The 'overspray' issue is the one thing holding me back from buying an airbrush...the thought of having to clean every surface in the room after each use, or relocate outdoors to airbrush just seems like more hassle than it's worth. I've read up on the cake air brush booth (see here:

) and have pretty much decided that unless I can get hold of one of those, then airbrushing is out of the question for me.
