Gumpaste/Fondant Topper

Hi, Quick question, I cut a topper for a cake out of a combo of Gumpaste and Fondant, it's a outline of a graduate, they want it standing up on top of cake, I cut it out Sunday morning, but it still doesnt seem to be drying/harding as to what I thought it would, need it by Friday night, do you think it will harden, or should I use some royal icing on the back to see if it will help???
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

put it in the oven with the light on for some time and it will dry faster. (remember the oven should be OFF, only the lights should be on)
