Long story short.... I have had 3 bdays, 2 family emergencies and cakes in the past week, so I completely forgot about making my 19 yr old son a bday cake. He loves chocolate chip cookies especially the kind that are the pizza size. Anyone have any suggestions on recipe or tips on how to make it?
ANYTHING would be appreciated! Blessings!!
I've used the regular toll house recipe from the side of the bag. Greased my 10" round cake pan and baked it. Comes out thick and chewy. I think one time I even added a box of vanilla pudding (small box, instant) to the mix.
A friend of mine added corn syrup to a store bought dough and spread on a jelly roll pan. I'm not sure the measurement but you could probably google it.
I would put the cookie dough in a greased/non stick sprayed pizza pan and then roll it out to size with your roller. HTH!
Thank you guys!!
Going to monitor responses for a little bit then get to baking! lol
Just compared my chocolate chip cookie recipe to one on allrecipes and I think I have a winner unless someone posts something better. Going to make it on a pizza pan with parchment paper on the bottom. Will let you know how it works out.
I can't quite recall exactly so do a search. Someone once said something about the edges of the pan. I can't remember if it's make sure you press the dough to the edges or make sure to stay away from the edges of the pan.
Thank you guys!
I did the pizza size cookie with a great recipe and it turned out perfect!! I guess I was just freaking a bit. The reassurance this group gives is amazing.
Blessings!
