Hello all,
I need to make some cookie for next week and I fell in love with these. I have tried ALL DAY to make these ribbon roses out of royal icing and it ain't happening. I have e mailed the lady who made these beautiful cookies but have yet to hear back. I do know however that I can make these ribbon roses out of fondant because I have done those before. My question is this, I would like to make ribbon roses out of fondant, small ones like these, for these cookies. I plan to make them next week, probably thursday night for an auction on saturday the 14th. Will the fondant be so hard that it could chip someone's tooth? Anytime I have leftover fondant pieces I put them in my cabinet and they turn brick hard.
How do you use fondant on a cookie in detail like this, but make sure they stay soft? Should I wrap each cookie individually, or should the whole bouquet be wrapped in one bag?
ANY help is appreciated, thank you!
